Kitchen sink set up 


All kitchen sinks must have the following set up: 


  • Kitchen roll

  • 1 sponge

  • 1 j cloth

  • 1 hand soap

  • 1 fairy liquid 



[cleaning note: Sink should be shiny and dry – no puddles around sink]

Kitchen cupboard set up


Kitchen cupboard must have: 


  • 1 jar of tea (mixed envelopes)

  • 1 bag of coffee (sealed, fresh)

  • 1 olive oil (full and clean)

  • 1 pepper mill

  • 1 salt mill 

  • 1 jar of sugar



[cleaning note: no crumbs in cupboard, make sure jar and olive oil are not greasy/ finger marks.]

Kitchen cupboard set up


Kitchen cupboard (or drawer) must have 


  • Aluminium foil 


Under kitchen sink, free standing in the kitchen or in laundry room


  • Bin with bin liner

  • Spare bin bags next to bin or in cupboard

  • 1 jar of dishwasher tablets

  • 1 jar of laundry tablets 



[cleaning note: ensure bin is clean and free of any smells. Under kitchen sink should be neat and tidy.]

Kitchen set up 

Once you have cleaned the kitchen, please check the following: 

  • Toaster is clean of crumbs

  • No water marks around the stink 

  • Kettle is free of limescale

  • Items on kitchen surfaces are neat and tidy

  • All cutlery is clean, cutlery drawers are clean

  • Check all plates, pans etc. are clean

  • Make sure the dishwasher is clean and empty

Oven 


Oven must have: 


  • X2 tea towels

  • X1 oven mitt 


Oven must be clean inside and out.


Welcome pack 


  • Clean folder placed in a prominent position (so the guest can see it)

  • Laminated welcome letter inside the folder


Kitchen caddy 


When the kitchen caddy is empty, it should be placed in a spare cupboard (in kitchen or laundry or under stairs)


So it can be used next time to collect all the items and leave by the door for the driver


Utility cupboard 


  • Hoover

  • Mop and bucket

  • Empty kitchen caddy

  • Empty bathroom caddy

  • Cleaning caddy 



Guest items 


All homes must have the following, neatly stored 


  • 1 ironing board

  • 1 iron

  • 1 high chair

  • 1 cot 















Homes that have sofa beds must have: 


1x duvet 

2x pillows 


Neatly stored in a cupboard in a plastic storage bag




Bathroom

Bath/ shower




  • Bath mat should be folded neatly over the bath or shower 

Sink 


  • Hand wash should be placed next to sink


cleaning note: all sink heads, taps must be free from limescale. 

There should be no watermarks 

Ensure that mirrors are clean, free of dust and fingerprints 









Hand towel


  • Hand towel should be placed neatly on towel rail or hook 

Toilet


  • 3 rolls of toilet paper per check in 

  • 1x toilet brush filled with bleach and water 

Bin 


  • Bathroom bin must have a bin liner

  • Bathroom bin should not be placed near toilet 

Bedrooms

Bed set up 


  • Bed sheets must be tucked tight at all corners, creases should be smoothed 

  • Bed pillows should be propped up 

  • Throw pillows should be placed neatly in front of bed pillows 

  • Throw blanket should be placed neatly at the end of the bed

  • 1 towel per person

  • Towels should be placed on white duvet sheets, never on throw

  • Each towel should have:

    • 1x shampoo

    • 1x body wash 

    • 1x conditioner 

Neatly placed on top (fan)

  • 1 hair dryer

Spares packs 


Note: currently only operating in London.


All master bedrooms must have the following in the cupboard: 


1x set of king linen, wrapped with pink ribbon 


1x double set of linen, wrapped with pink ribbon (this is for sofa beds)


1x set of towels wrapped with pink ribbon 


Living areas 

Living areas 


  • Ensure couch is free from dust,and  pillows are set neatly 

  • TV control must be on coffee table

  • All surfaces should be clean and free of dust 

  • Chairs should be neatly pushed in 

  • Throw should be neatly folded and placed over the arm of the sofa 

  • Check that noise monitor is plugged in 

  • Check that Wi-fi is working 

  • Blinds must be open 

  • Use febreeze on soft furnishings to ensure the area smells fresh
