The home quite often has power cuts. This causes the fire alarm to ring.
If no fire is detected - please ask the guest to type in the code 1111 and press reset on the fire alarm unit.
Unfortunately, this house has a key meter for the electric, usually, it has enough on the meter to last each guest stay, bit if they use the electric hobs and ovens and electric fans or heaters it can run out very quickly.
If it runs out the guests can pull the electric key out from the meter located bottom of the stairs front basement entrance, and re-insert it,
which will put the emergency on and give them power again until the key is topped up with more money. It's very rare that it runs out during a guests stay
